What is IPL Photo Rejuvenation (Photofacial)?
Photo rejuvenation (photofacial treatment) is a procedure that uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to rejuvenate the skin by reducing the signs of aging. Photofacials are most commonly performed on the face, neck, chest, as well as hands to treat facial redness and flushing, and erase damage caused by sun overexposure and aging. Photofacial procedure is performed in a series of three or more treatments typically three or four weeks apart. Photofacials deliver the best results for treatment of pigmented lesions, telangectasia, and Rosacea as well as facial veins. Photofacial treatments deliver a natural-looking improvement with virtually no adverse effects.

Mole Removal.
A mole is a small, darkly pigmented growth on the skin, a high concentration of melanin is responsible for their dark color. Depending on their location, moles may go unnoticed - or they may become a nuisance by rubbing against clothing and getting in the way of shaving. Moles are usually circular or oval and not very large. Most children are born with moles, and almost everyone has at least one or two moles on their bodies, some more than others.
Sometimes people want a mole removed for cosmetic reasons - because of its visibility on the face or obvious part of the body. However if If you have a mole that is asymmetrical, changes shape quickly or bleeds, chances are your doctor will want it removed for it to be tested. Moles are most often of no medical consequence, however many skin cancers, including melanoma begin in the shape of a mole.
There are various benefits to this procedure, including:
- Removing protruding moles that get in the way of shaving.
- Reducing skin irritation that can occur when certain moles rub against clothing or jewelry.
- Achieving smoother, clearer skin.
- Enhancing appearance and improving self-esteem.
Most importantly, if a mole is suspected to be pre-cancerous early on, it can often be completely removed before it causes a serious health risk.
